Speed District was created for drivers who believe track days should feel the way driving was meant to feel—focused, respectful, exhilarating, and free of unnecessary noise.
I founded Speed District in 2010 after spending years attending track events across Southern California. Like many enthusiasts, I experienced the full spectrum: incredible days that reminded me why I fell in love with driving, and others that were overcrowded, disorganized, or distracted by egos and chaos. Those experiences shaped a simple idea—there had to be a better way to do this.
Speed District is that answer.
What began as a small group of like-minded drivers has grown into a close-knit community built entirely through word of mouth. We’ve never advertised, and that’s intentional. Our events are shared among people who respect the track, each other, and the privilege of being out there. That approach allows us to maintain an environment that feels welcoming, calm, and genuinely enjoyable—no drama, no posturing, just drivers who are there for the right reasons.
Every Speed District event is designed with quality over quantity in mind. We limit attendance to keep the track open and flowing. We include professional photography and timing with no hidden fees. Coaching and guidance are always available, and the atmosphere is supportive whether it’s your first time on track or your hundredth. There’s no pressure to prove anything—just space to learn, improve, and enjoy the drive.
Above all, Speed District is about community. It’s about showing up early, sharing stories between sessions, helping one another get better, and leaving the track already looking forward to the next event. It’s the most fun you can have with your clothes on—and every lap is meant to feel memorable.
If you’re new to the track, you’ll be welcomed. If you’re experienced, you’ll appreciate the difference. Either way, there’s a place for you here.
I look forward to seeing you out on track.
