Black Series the be announced, Mercedes-Benz has released this new video of the Black Series coupe in action to tie us over.
The narration gives a good overview of the Black Series coupe, but a couple of details they forgot to mention is that the vehicle in the video is equipped with the aerodynamics pack, track pack and carbon fiber package.
The aero pack adds carbon fiber flics to the front bumper, a revised front splitter and a fixed rear wing. The carbon fiber package adds the lightweight material to the mirror casings, side skirts and rear diffuser while the track pack adds matte black 19-inch forged alloy wheels with Dunlop SP Sport MAXX Race semi-slick tires developed specially for the Black Series Coupe and a transmission cooler.
Power is provided by a 6.3-liter V8 engine with 517 PS (380 kW / 510 hp) and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to an AMG Speedshift MCT 7 transmission which enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in approximately 4.2 seconds.
The C63 AMG Black Series Coupe will be launched in January and German pricing starts at €115,430 (including 19% VAT).
